Scotty Davis is a Pastor, Mission Consultant, a Biblical Counselor and a Police Chaplain. Scotty is married to Kathy since 1974 and they have 4 children.
Isaiah 49:6 tells the prophet he is to be a light to the nations, and so should each of us that know the grace of the Lord. This is indeed the greater task to which we should aspire. Isaiah was shortsighted and thought he was only a minister to the Hebrews but God said that task was ...Too Small A Thing... and that He would be a witness to the enitre earth. And so he wrote a book we read 2700 years later.

National Day of Prayer - Is Thursday

The National Day of Prayer is this Thursday. There are a couple of events I will be a part of to observe it.

This event is designed for those who work through the night. Come by on duty if you are close enough and can stop for a biscuit and prayer with one of the Chaplains. If you are wearing a badge and can come by to have a biscuit and a prayer with us you are invited.

The second event is at 11 am at the Cobb Public Safety Training Center. This event is for all Cobb County Public Safety Workers. We will have a Speaker and a series of prayers for various concerns and then a hot dog cook out in the Pavilion.

As we as a country draw aside to pray on this day of prayer May 3, 2018 we have many concerns and petitions to bring to our God. Please do not forget to pray for our service men defending our country around the world and our Public Safety Personnel protecting our communities at home.
