Isaiah 49:6 tells the prophet he is to be a light to the nations, and so should each of us that know the grace of the Lord. This is indeed the greater task to which we should aspire. Isaiah was shortsighted and thought he was only a minister to the Hebrews but God said that task was ...Too Small A Thing... and that He would be a witness to the enitre earth. And so he wrote a book we read 2700 years later.

The Beautiful Children You Can Never Forget

I have only included three pictures of children on this post but there are thousands and thousands of children in Ethiopia. Some are very happy, healthy and fairly well fed, but some are obviously under nourished. Children are children wherever you find them. If they have nothing to play with they will make themselves something to play with out of whatever they can find. I saw several with the pole with wheels toy you see this young man proudly showing me. The tears on the face of the small child may bring some to your eyes. There is so much need and so much is already started.

Four years ago there was only one church in the area. Now there are 11.
