Isaiah 49:6 tells the prophet he is to be a light to the nations, and so should each of us that know the grace of the Lord. This is indeed the greater task to which we should aspire. Isaiah was shortsighted and thought he was only a minister to the Hebrews but God said that task was ...Too Small A Thing... and that He would be a witness to the enitre earth. And so he wrote a book we read 2700 years later.

Back Packs for Appalachia

Back Packs for Appalachia is a program by GA Baptist to send 20,000 Children a gift of toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for Christmas. I am please to tell you that our Missions Committee at Piney Grove has led our church to donate a total of 62 back packs to the cause. What a blessing it was when Rita Sakalian sent me this photo to see love for children who need it badly a gift for Christmas.
