Last night the Noonday Baptist Association Panama Vision Team met at Hurt Road Baptist Church for a time of commissioning and prayer in preparation for their leaving on Sunday for Panama. All of the traveling team spoke at the meeting to talk about why, and what, and how, this team and trip has come to be. The focus of the evening was a time of prayer. The group was blessed as friends and family gathered to lift them up to the Lord. When the call to pray was issued the entire congregation which was assembled from several different churches gathered around the team members to lay hands on them and to pray.
I think it is an absolutely beautiful site. Next week as we travel I will have some post from Panama to share with all of you what this team will experience and to ask you to pray with us for the work in Panama.
