Kathy has done very well after sort of a slow start (4 days in CCU) and now we are really seeing her come to the point of feeling much better. She still has soreness and is not ready for rugby but she is beginning to function normally but with the caveat that she gets tired quickly. Yesterday we saw the surgeon and she ask about going back to work and his answer was she could do whatever she felt like doing but do not pick up anything too heavy or do not drive yet. So I think Kathy loves her job at the church a whole lot more than one more episode of the Beverly Hillbillys so I think she is headed into the office for a few hours today. This is remarkable. Some will say she is coming back too fast but I being among them, but if she is careful an will come home and rest after a few hours I think she will do great.
She is in the strech for the healing process however it is a long strech. She will be able to drive in about another week, but full healing of the breastbone takes 11 weeks. Thanks again for all the encourgement, cards, food, but most of all your going to the Father for Kathy. I know your prayers have made a differnce.
