Isaiah 49:6 tells the prophet he is to be a light to the nations, and so should each of us that know the grace of the Lord. This is indeed the greater task to which we should aspire. Isaiah was shortsighted and thought he was only a minister to the Hebrews but God said that task was ...Too Small A Thing... and that He would be a witness to the enitre earth. And so he wrote a book we read 2700 years later.

Good Here Bad There - Were all in this together

As Kathy is definitely getting better and we begin to let this evnet slip into recent history, I am looking back into the real world and realize stuff is going on.

My Aunt Aggie is not well at all and the Orell family needs your prayers. I have already bee asked to conduct the funeral service for my aunt and the arrangments are being made- it is only a matter of time.

Another Law Enforcement Officer has been lost in Georgia this year. Christopher Upton age 37 survived by a wife and five year old daughter was shot by a hunter on March 5 and his memorial service will be this Sunday. Please remember this family also in your prayers.

Now it seems we are watching the news more and seeing all the difficulties in the world so hence the title Good Here Bad There.

Isn't is comforting to know that God is perfect. He is the greatest Good and there is no bad with Him. Run To Him. Seek HIM. We seek the Good and leave the bad behind. The problem is that sometimes we get confused about what is good and bad. His word showes us the Good --- His Son Jesus is the ultimate expression of Good.
What Jesus did was for all of us. We are all in this together.

Kathy slept well that is good. She is healing that is good. We live in a difficult world that is bad. Lets commit to pray for each other that we will walk with the Good Shepherd who calls us by name.
