A milestone!

We just got some great news! They have just removed my mom's neck IV line and her catheter. She's now ready to move out of CCU and into a room on the cardiac level!

Her progress has been dramatic! She is talking well now, though its still tough for her to talk much, and she is able to get up with only a little dizziness. She is in good sprits and the nurses are letting Dad stay back with her longer now as they wait for a room.

Please keep praying for us. Here are a couple of ways that you can keep us in your prayers.

• Pray for a room to open soon! This will let my dad begin to stay with her 24 hours a day and help take care of her.
• Pray for to stay motivated to "exercise." The next steps will involve walking and staying active!
• Pray for our family. Our family is beginning to feel the strain of the hospital stay. Please pray for our relationships and our endurance so that we can help Kathy heal.

Thank you for all your kind words for Mom and Dad during this time. Your encouragement by email, Facebook, and comments here on the blog mean a lot to Dad.
