Christmas Memories

The gifts are open and tummies are fed. We all talked so much I do not remember all that was said. In our family gatherings, We were blessed with good times, we laughed and we hugged then we wrote up some rhymes. The photo above is all of my crew, we made this nice photo so we could share it with you.

Recognition of A Good Leader and a Great Friend

T. R. Alexander has been the Chaplain Coordinator for the Cobb County Police Chaplain Program since it was founded in 1999 after the deaths of two Cobb County Police officers Steve Reeves and Steve Gilner. T.R. keeps records, facilitates communications, oversees the program from a servant leader perspective and basically does all of the administrative fucntions with the able help of Officer Jack Fulinwiler. T. R. has served in this position for 10 years. The Senior Chaplains who are all volunteer Clergy presented the award and a small gift to show appreciation for his work at the Annual Cobb Police Chaplain Appreciation Dinner at Lost Mountain Baptist on December the 15. What  an honor to be able to serve the men and women of the Cobb County Police Department and to work with very deicated people lite Lieutenant T.R. Alexander.

Chicken Sales in Bethlehem

What fun to be a part of the Bethlehem Village. Me and My Friends Tim and Steve and Sam were obviously the only chicken stand in town. We hammed it up greeting all the visitors through the gates and telling them after their long journey they  would likely be hungry and would need a chicken to eat or at least some eggs. We were obviously crooks as we were seeking advance payment of chickens or eggs to be picked up latter. The kids were fascinated with our live chickens Sam and Ella (say it fast) We do it all again tommorrow night at 6 PM. Come join us.

Getting Ready to Sell Chickens

This weekend I will add a new line on my Resume. Chicken Salesman. That's right I will be a peddler of Fowl Flesh. Me and kindred spirit or at least a matching Cue Ball (Steve May) and I will be teaming up to corner the market on selling the poultry in the Bethlehem Village at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church this Saturday and Sunday. The Gates to the Village will open at 6 pm and the program will begin at 7. CPA-USA Website is a Great New Site

The Christian Police Association CPA is a organization for fellowship organization for Law Enforcement Officers who are followers of Jesus Christ. The organization is very strong in the United Kingdom and I had the privilege of spending a couple of days with the Executive Director of The CPA in the UK in August of this year. Don and Elanor Axcell opened their home to me and took me on a tour of London. I think the most important aspect of the trip last August was the realization that there is an active work to revitalize the  CPA in the USA. Now the web site for the CPA-USA is up and running and it is excellent. Keep watching here as there will soon be much more information on the CPA-USA. The Manhattan Declaration

Have you read this document? It is a very powerful statement of the need to change in our society. I have signed the document and would encourage you to do so. When I signed there were 232,054 signators. We need millions. I urge you to take time to read the document and give it your support. Be aware of several very important items it discusses.

    It is very pro life. Affirming the stance that life begins at conception and all abortion is sin.

    It also affirms marriage between one man and one woman. The decay of the basic family unit is obvious in our society and this must change.

    It states a strong affirmation for the rulers and government of the land but makes clear the intent of God's people to not comply with laws that would violate the God ordained ideals that are biblical.

I would like to challege you if you are a believer to go to the web site read and sign the document.

Pray for us a a nation and seek wisdom from our Lord about this matter.
