Here I am standing on a hill overlooking the training center property It is beautiful and has much potentil for the future. God Is definitly at work here in the work in Brazil.
We are cruising on a tributary between the Niger and Amazon rivers just offshore from the training center property. God is blessing the trip please continue to pray for the team.
The Conplei Training Center is going to be building several important Structures over the next few years. This week Aug 23- 28 Scotty will be on the site of the Conplei Training center visting with the Developers and Board members of this indiginious training center on the Amazon River. Pray for the team of Seven people for wisdom and safety as they travel. There will be opportunity for many churches to be involved in this new work in the upcoming years ahead. Thanks for your prayers.

A dear Friend Tim Welch sent me this and It is worth the read. Ben Stien I often see on FOX News but what kind of guy is he? Some things I am not sure about him still but I know who his heros are.
We have some of the same heros. I had breakfast this morning with 5 from Prescient 2 who would not really think of themselves as heros but they are. They serve the public oblivious to danger at a great personal sacrifice. What a joy in my life to minister to men and women who wear the badge.
I am right now enjoying the busiest time of my life in the slowest moment of my day. Quite a statement. I have so many things going on in my work, my family, my friends, and just things that come up that every day seems to be full of things that need to be done and there is always something to do. I seldom get bored and when I do it is short lived. But in the busiest time of my life there are the quiet moments. Each morning a little after 5 I arise and here is the real test. I have about an hour and a half or so to spend on whatever I choose. I can read, clean, watch TV, exercise, or just contemplate life. I can do a combination of all of these things and often find that this is what happens. The item that seems to get the least and is not on the list is pray. I often do this in my morning hours but not enough. When I do things seem better. Why do I not pray? The same reason you do not. Dishes need to be washed. It is simplier to watch the news and fill up my head with the current events. It is important to exercise the scale keeps telling me "one at a time" when I step on it. What ever the moment brings in my slowest moment of the day it seems important. The reality nothing is more important than prayer. I have a whole bunch to pray about. Problems, and peoplle head up the list. My own sin is ususally a reason I am reluctant to start. I am in the busiest time of my life due only to the blessing of God. I owe everthing to him yet I still act like a spoiled child so often. I am enjoying the busy time as the work is the work of God and He gives me opportunity to make a differnce in people's lives.
So what has this got to do with anything? Use your time that is slow to spend with Him. Go to Him, Worship Him, Study Him through the Word. Your busy times will slow down and the slow times will speed up in a good way. The God of the Universe does not keep time He keeps people. He looks over His precious ones. Slow down my friend for you are one of His. I think today will be a good day!
