How Could I ask for More

I wish for every father to experiance what I did at my son's Bachelor Camp Out this past friday. Brian was married on Sunday in a beautiful ceremony that I had the honor as with my other sons to officiate and join my new daughter Bethany to my son in Holy Matrimony. It was beautiful. But Let me tell you about Friday night. 13 of us gathered to wait and Brian showed up about dark as he had been sent on a scavenger hunt by the best man Grant Kersy to find friends, who had gifts and letters for Brian. When Brian came there was a hot dog roast and lots of jokes and fun for a few minutes but after a while we sat around the fire and talked about Brian. As these young men talked I heard words like, Mentor, Leadership, Example , and Godly, used again and agin. The young men basicly talked about how Brian had impacted their lives. What a joy for a father to hear.
The rehersal dinner was great as the food and fellowship were fantastic and the accolades for Brian contiued but this time there were just as many for Bethany. What a blessing to see two young people who are already impacting peoples lives come together and center their lives on Christ while seeking out what it is God wants them to do. How could a father ask for more. I am blessed.
